Winston Cisco

Winston Cisco, 72, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
He was born July 15, 1940 in Mohawk, West Virginia. In his early years he was a barber in Huntington, West Virginia, where he was married to Elaine Lawson Cisco. They had a son Winston Eric Cisco. They moved to Hilliard, Florida in the 60’s where they owned M&M Truck City. In the 70’s, they moved to Folkston, Georgia where he owned and operated Cisco Ford for around 25 years. Winston’s wife Elaine of 42 years passed in March of 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents: Champ and Anna Cisco of Folkston, Georgia and a brother: Fairley Cisco of St. Marys, Georgia.
Winston was a member of Oceanway Assembly of God in Jacksonville, Florida. He leaves behind a devoted loving wife of 10 years: Rose Mary Parsley Cisco (Rosie), his loving son: Erick Cisco(Tina) 3 very much loved grandchildren: Ericka Cisco of Nevada, Jenny Cisco Tague(Joey) of Richmond Hill, Georgia; Jerrod Cisco(Lindy cheek) of el Paso, Tx.; 3 Step-children: Jonathan Roman, Joshua (Melissa) Roman, Rachel Roman Flores(Emir ); 3 step-grandchildren: Taylor, Kennedy and Trinity, all of Jacksonville, Florida; a brother: Leslie Cisco(Erma) of Woodbine, Georgia. He also leaves cousins, nieces, nephews, a aunt and Uncle in Williamson, west Virginia: Herbert and Norma Mounts; Jerry, Jenny and Jordon Mounts of Delbarton, West Virginia and a host of very, very dear friends. A special thanks to Hospice of the golden Isles of Brunswick, Georgia; their staff; nurses: Miriam Cristobal and Karon Bennett and aide Brenda Bryant for their compassionate and great care of my husband during his illness. Another special thanks to Pat & Ronnie Evans of Folkston, Georgia for all the meals and help. Winston, now rest in the arms of Jesus and know you will be greatly missed. I love you Baby!

The family will receive friends Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Pastors: Danny Baggett and Ken Barney officiating. Burial will follow in Pine View cemetery.
