William Thomas Walker, Sr., 79, passed away Thursday, October 26 at the Senior Care Center of Brunswick. Mr. Walker was born July 4, 1944 in Waynesville, GA to the late James Chester Walker and Annie Laura Walker. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and also worked with the Glynn County Public Works department doing roadwork. He loved riding his bicycle and fishing. Mr. Walker never met a stranger and could talk to anyone he came in contact with.
He is survived by his sons: Bill Walker Jr. and Carroll (Janet) Walker; 2 grandchildren; a sister: Grace Carroll; brother: James Walker.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Homeward Cemetery with Bro. David Farrior officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
