William Russell

William “Bill” Lee Russell, 73, of Folkston, Georgia passed away March 14, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in New Lexington, Ohio to the late Carl Russell and Sara Russell White. He was the owner/operator of Russell’s Repair Shop in Folkston for a number of years. He attended the Homeland Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his wife: Allie Burch Russell; 7-children: Rick Russell, Rex Russell, Diane James, Kim Penny, Cherrie Lawwell, Brenda Russell and Gary Craigmiles; 2-Brothers: Tom Russell and David Russell; and a sister: Sally McManus; 9-Grandchildren and a number of Great Grandchildren

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 18 at 3:00 PM at the Homeland Pentecostal Church with Rev. Alton Crews and Rev. Sammy Spradley officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
