William Jordan

William M. Jordan, 87, of Folkston, GA passed away May 5 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born January 16, 1931 in Opp, AL to the late John Rufus Jordan, Jr. and Annie Inez Dukes Jordan.  He proudly served his country in the US Army as a Military Police Officer.  He retired in 1980 from Florida National Bank as Sr. VP of Building and Construction.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Folkston.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son:  David Jordan; siblings:  Irma Cauley, Josh Jordan, Evelyn Parker, Harry Jordan, Donald Jordan and Janice Ellis.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years:  Anne C. Jordan; children:  Scott (Betsy) Jordan, Pam Farrington, Wanda (Ray) DePaolis; siblings:  Minnie Wallace, Aaron Jordan; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emmalee, Jordan, Angela and Brian; and many nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, May, 10 at 11:30 AM at First Baptist Church of Folkston with Rev. Gene McCullough officiating.  Memorialization will be by cremation.
