WILLIAM BROWN

April 11, 1931 — January 2, 2021

William Dillard Brown, 89, of Homeland, GA passed away January 2, 2021 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.  He was born April 11, 1931 in Orlando, FL to the late Oscar Brown and Sallie Honeycutt Brown.  He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Crossroads Pentecostal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Betty Ruth Keene Brown and 2-sons:  John Michael Brown and David Brookie Brown and a grandson:  Jarrod T. Brannan.

He is survived by his children:  Tronia Ann Singletary, Glynn Richard Lloyd (Angela), Ronald Wade Lloyd (Joanne), John Wayne Lloyd (Jo Ann) and Brenda Lloyd Brannan (Larry); 13-grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, January 6 at 11:30 AM in Homeland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11-11:30 at the cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
