William Charles Alderman, 80, of Folkston, passed away December 11 at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, Florida. He was born in Sarasota, Florida to the late Alva Kindle Alderman and Curtis Hickox Alderman. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife: Marie Elizabeth Barksdale Alderman.
He is survived by a son: Forrest Alderman; a Grandson: Chris Alderman; 2-Great Grandsons: Garrette Alderman, Jared Alderman; a Great Granddaughter: Lauren Alderman; 2-Sisters: Hazel Wilson and Callie Ballard; and an Aunt: Corris Sellers.
A graveside service will be held at the VA National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida at a later date. Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest book at www.shepardfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia.
