Wilbur Horne

Wilbur Kelley Horne, 60 of Folkston passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at his residence. He was born to Milton L. and Ernestine L. Cottle Horne on October 18, 1947 in Charlton County. He lived in Kingsland, Ga. until the age of 13 when his family moved to Folkston, where he lived the
remainder of his life. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. His parents, Milton L. and Ernestine L. Cottle Horne and a brother Lacey Horne preceded him in death.

Survivors include: Brother: Roy Lee Horne of Kingsland;
Sister: Betty (Wesley) Prescott of Brunswick; Brother: Robert Horne of
Jacksonville, Fl.; Brother: Buddy Horne of Folkston; Brother: Joe Horne of Folkston; Sister: Sue Ann (David) McCullough of Folkston;
Nephew: Chad(Rachel) McCullough of Hilliard, Fl.; Nephew:
Joey(Jessica) McCullough of Folkston; Niece: Kelli(Rocky)Chesser of Folkston; Nephew: Wesley(Pam)Prescott, Jr. of Brunswick; Niece: Angela (Jeff) Chapman of Brunswick; Nephew: Timmy(Tonya) Prescott of Brunswick; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Graveside services will be in Homeland Cemetery, Thursday, May 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim King officiating.
