Wayne "Halfbreed" Lee

Wayne “Halfbreed” Lee, 67, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born in Folkston, Georgia on June 18, 1955 to the late Dorminy Lee and Mary Melissa Shuman Lee. Wayne loved hunting, fishing and living on the river. He loved his grandchildren the most and enjoyed cheering on the Maiden’s Softball team. He was a Platinum/Founding member of Popham Hill Country Club, a member of the Folkston Jaycees, Camp Lake Hunting Club, Buck Bay Hunting Club, and Winokur Hunting Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Theresa Lee.

He is survived by his 2-daughters; Tammy Lee (T.J. Thrift) and Erika (Brad) Woolard, 5-grandchildren; Emma Woolard, Addison Crews, Charli Woolard, Abby Crews, and Waylon Woolard, 4-siblings; Sheila Johnson, Terry (Karen) Lee, Loretta Altman, and Levis (Robin) Lee, his adopted family; Lisa, Tim and Scott (Hannah) Birchall, and Billie, Joseph & Harris King, 1-aunt; Polley Chancey, his furbaby; Sugar Lee, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Sardis Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Bro. Parnell Aldridge officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Marys Riverkeeper 300 Osborne Road, St. Marys, GA 31558.
