Thelma Conner

Thelma Stokes Conner, 75, of Hilliard passed away Tuesday August 28 at her residence. She was born in Bryceville, FL. She was preceded in death by her Father: Dewey Stokes; a sister: Wilma Stokes; and her brother: John Ernest Walker, Jr. She was a homemaker and a loving mother to all she met.

She is survived by her Husband of 60 years: Dewitt Conner; 2-Sons: Twain (Shirley) Conner and Ronnie (Janice) Conner; her mother: Myrtle Walker, all of Hilliard, FL; a sister: Doris Taylor of Folkston, GA; 2-Grandchildren: Jacob Dewitt Conner and Cara Faye Conner both of Hilliard.

The family will receive friends Thursday August 30 at Mrs. Conner's residence at 271566 Conner Nelson Road where she will lie in state beginning at 2:00 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday August 31 at 10:00 AM at Nathalene Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
