Surrounded by his family, Terry Alan Hendricks of Hilliard, FL peacefully slipped into the second half of life’s adventure, on August 13, 2023.
Born August 30, 1955 in Fernandina Beach, FL to Edward Gray Hendricks and Betty Jean (Harris) Hendricks, he lived his childhood in Nassauville. His military service was in the Army, stationed in Germany in 1974.
He was a carpenter by trade, but his passion was music and photography. Pink Floyd was always blasting on his stereo. He shot photos with his heart and could capture his subjects essence with his camera.
Terry is predeceased by his parents, three brothers; Edward Gray Hendricks, Jr., Kenneth Lee Hendricks, and Billy Jay Hendricks, and a granddaughter; Lourice Baldwin.
He is survived by his wife; Benita Laurendine Hendricks of Hilliard, FL, sister; Linda Hendricks Crum of Americas, GA, children; Jessie Allen Hendricks of Rowell, GA, Tina (Todd) Lanier of Woodbine, GA, April (Teria) Hendricks of Hilliard, FL, Jeremy Adam (Carlie) Truman of St. George, GA, Nathaniel Gray (Serina) Hendricks of St. George, GA, Kimberly (Tim) Hendricks McColly of Portage, IN, stepchildren; Steve (Jo) Nix of Yulee, FL, Justin (Lizzie) Laurendine, and Connie Carman of Hilliard, FL, grandchildren; Michaela, Layla, Emmaline, Caleb, Payton, Abraham, Nick, Triston, Aiden, Sam, Kee, Kai, Rylee, Jaden, Olivia, Shane, Destiny, and Issak, and great-grandchild; Brennan. And several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
