Suzy Griffin

Suzy Glisson Griffin, 44, of Folkston, passed away Thursday, January 21, st St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a native and life long resident of Charlton County. She was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church. She was employeed as a Case Worker for Satilla Community Services.

She is survived by her husband: Lester Griffin; her son: Harrison Gage Griffin; her parents: Milton J. and Jimmie Jane Mattox Glisson; 2-Sisters: Tracey (Garrett) Johnson and Michelle (Chris) Strickland; 2-Nieces: Mallory Glisson and Kenzie Johnson; 2-Nephews: Ethan Ganey and Cooper Strickland; and a host of cousins, aunts uncles and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Sunday January 24 at Shepard Funeral Home beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday January 25 at Philadepphia Free Will Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Parnell Aldridge, Rev. David Amburgey, and Rev. Harris Touchton officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
