Suzanne Stapleton Mazuch

Suzanne Stapleton Mazuch, 71, of Folkston, Georgia, passed away on January 20, 2025. Born in Folkston on October 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Emmet B. Stapleton, Jr. and Mary Catherine Everett Stapleton. Suzanne retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. She was member of Folkston Methodist Church, though in recent years, she had attended Bay Harbor Church of God in Brunswick, Georgia. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Andrew John Mazuch; and brother-in-law: Harry “Skip” Mazuch, Jr.

She is survived by her children: Stacey Atkins of Blackshear, GA, Suzannah (Josh) Trogdon of Folkston, GA and John Joseph Mazuch of Kingsland, GA; grandchildren: Shelby Atkins of Blackshear, GA, Landon Trogdon of Folkston, GA, Catherine “Cate” Trogdon of Folkston, GA and Savannah Atkins of Blackshear, GA; great-granddaughter: Raelee Grace Atkins of Blackshear, GA; sisters: Catherine “Cathy” Stapleton of Folkston, GA and Barbara (Jimmy) Davis of Folkston, GA; sisters-in-law: Donna (Edward) Keefer and Beverly (Jeffery) Elliot; her wonderful and loving caretakers: Sam and Shirley Reed; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog: Pumpkin.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Pineview Cemetery with John Harris officiating.
