Steven Elmore

Steven Elmore, 48, of Folkston, passed away Sunday May 27, 2007 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. He was born in Brooklyn, New York but lived most of his life in Folkston, GA. He graduated from Charlton County High School in 1979. He was a member of the House of Love Church in Folkston. His parents were the late Eli Bonner and Lucy Elmore.

He is survived by his daughter: Renae Elmore of Camden County, GA; a son: Desmon Lamar Williams of Columbus, GA; a brother: Ellis Bonner of Pennsylvania; an Aunt: Cora Jackson of Folkston, GA; and many cousins and other relatives, devoted friends and family: Leon Pollock, Vera Bridges, Gloria Baker, Patina Jackson, Lois L. Daniels, James Thomas, Howard Elmore and Jenny Crews, and many sorrowing friends .

The family will receive friends Friday June 1, 2007 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 1:00 PM at St. Matthews Baptist Church with Bishop Vandell Milton officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Folkston.
