Silas Nettles, Sr

Silas Carlo “Bo” Nettles, Sr., 65, of St. George, GA, passed away March 27 in his residence. He was born in Folkston, Georgia to the late John Carlo Nettles and Rachel Inez Hickox Nettles. He was preceded in death by 3-Sisters: Hazel Capps, Doris Vanacor, Janice Harris; 5-Brothers: L.C. Nettles, Jimmy Nettles, Walter Nettles, Curtis Nettles, and William Nettles; and a Grandson: Brad Nettles.
He is survived by 5-Children: Terri Olsson, Libby (Korey) Puckett, Rebecka Ann (Craig) Lucree, Silas C. “Bill” (Becky) Nettles, Jr., and Lynn (Paula) Nettles; 2-Sisters: Wanda Jean Fife and Linda Gail Cooler; 3-Brothers: Roy (Barbara) Nettles, Earl (Betty) Nettles, and Cleveland (JoAnn) Nettles; 14-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30 at 11:00 at the Folkston Church of God with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery
