Shirley Louise Snowden

Shirley Louise Snowden, 81, of Folkston, GA passed away Tuesday, May 16 at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born October 2, 1941 in Folkston, GA to the late Frank S. Snowden and Ernie Katheoline Nettles Snowden. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers:  Dennis Snowden, Dean Troy Snowden, John Ernest Snowden, Albert Earl Snowden and Charlton Laverne Snowden.

She is survived by her sister:  Annie Lee Snowden; a brother:  Marvin (June) Snowden and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA with Pastor Tim King officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mitchell Snowden, Arthur Joe Geiger, Scott Lambert, Josh Wise, Dennis Snowden, Everett Sikes and Rod Norris.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Lester Chesser and Allen Lloyd.
