Sharon Smith

Sharon Kay Smith, 53, of Jacksonville, FL passed away October 4 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center following an illness. She was born in Folkston, Georgia to the late James Walter and Eva Johns Crews. She was employed at St. Vincent’s Medical Center for the past 10 years. She was preceded in death by her brother: Melvin Crews.
She is survived by her husband: Virgil L. Smith; a Daughter: Stephanie Lucas (Nicholas) Thorpe; 2-Sisters: Diane (Audie) Jordan and Shirley Sweat; and 2-Brothers: Jimmy Crews and Mike Crews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 6 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 7 at 2:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Audie Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
