Sandra Thomas Thompson

Sandra Thomas Thompson, 81, of St. George, GA, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born September 14, 1940 in Hilliard, FL to the late Ephrain Thomas and Susie Crawford Thomas.  She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson:  Conner Hollie and her sisters:  Virginia Dubberly and Julia Herrington.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years:  John Ross “Sam” Thompson; her children:  Angela (Buddy) Conner and Tony (Jeannie) Thompson; grandchildren:  Rebecca (Ben) Hollie, Dustin (Haylee) Thompson, Mark (Kara) Conner and Dalton (Alisha) Thompson; 6-great grandchildren and 1-great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6-8 PM at New Life Baptist Church, 1058 Wheeler Street, St. George, GA.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 19 at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastors Brian Herrington and James Conner officiating.  Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.
