Sandra Martin Meyer, 69, passed away at her residence February 6, 2018 in Homeland, GA. She was born September 2, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Thomas C. Martin and Betty Lou Butler Martin. She was a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner from 1965-1985 and then excelled in being the owner of NFCC Cosmetology School from 1986-1994 in Jacksonville, FL.
In 2004 she decided to move to Homeland Georgia. She made this her home and was very blessed to have incredible neighbors and dear friendships. Sandy also found another true passion- wood turning and was quite talented. She was a very proud member of the Jacksonville Wood Turners Club and the Georgia Wood Turners Guild. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Folkston. Sandy was also known for her contagious beautiful smile! She loved her family, friends, mother nature and her hobbies. She will be greatly missed.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Theodore C. Meyer, Sr.
She is survived by her children: Tania M. Jones, Dawn M (Kevin) Burnette, and Theodore C. (Dana) Meyer, Jr.; 2-Brothers: Jimmy (Wanda Jean) Martin and John (Coleta) Martin; 3-Grandchildren: Walker Burnette, Aaron Burnette and Brittany Edwards along with many other nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation and interment will take place at a later date at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
