Sandra Brown

Sandra Faye Samsel Brown, 71, of Folkston, GA passed away at her residence November 9, 2015.  She was born January 14, 1944 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Hugh Lee Samsel and Nora Evelyn Gibbons Samsel.  She retired as a nurse with the Brantley County Health Department.  She was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister:  Burlene Clayton.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years:  Robert Brown; 3-Children:  Denise Brown, Christopher Brown and Keith Brown (Carol Bratcher); 2-Sisters:  Lynda Day & Brenda Biddy; 1-Brother:  Kirk Samsel; 6-Grandchildren:  Brittany Brown, Huey Brown, Christina Brown, Robbie Brown, Timothy Bratcher & Misti Crumbley and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 12 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA fro 6-8 PM.  The family will also receive friends Saturday, November 14 at Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel in Rossville, GA fro 1-2 PM.  A graveside services will be held November 14 at 2:30 PM in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Rossville, GA.
