Ryan Mizell

Ryan Christopher Mizell, 33 of Folkston passed July 27, 2013 from injuries sustained in an accident in Nassau County, Florida.  He was born November 8, 1979 to Shirley Ann Parker Mizell and Pete Mizell in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ryan was a graduate of Charlton County High School and a lifelong resident of Folkston, Georgia. He loved all sports and especially playing baseball. He was employed with his father at Mizell’s Heating and Cooling in Kingsland, Georgia.

Ryan was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother: Shirley Parker Mizell of Folkston, Georgia; his father:  Pete Mizell(Maria) of Folkston, Georgia; one brother: Matt Mizell(Nicole) of Blackshear, Georgia; Grandparents: E.M. Mizell (Tibby) of Kingsland, Georgia; Aunts: Geraldine Knowles(Arthur) of Folkston; Debbie Hardy (David) of Gilbert, South Carolina; Molly Parker(Jimmy) of Fernandina Beach, Florida; Kathy Lloyd(Steve) of Folkston, Georgia; Crystal Lloyd (Charles) of Folkston, Georgia; Uncles: Mike Mizell (Laurie) of Atlanta, Georgia; Bobby Mizell (Carol) of Folkston, Georgia; Pat Mizell (Tracey) of Atlanta, Georgia; Steve Mizell of St. Marys, Georgia; Nephews: Parker Mizell and Logan Carrin; many other relatives and loving friends. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: James and Louise Champion and Ruby Mizell and James Hubert Parker.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hall and Jimmy Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family request contributions be made to the Ryan Mizell Memorial fund at  Southeastern Bank, Folkston, Georgia.
