Ruth Sanford

Ruth Jones Sanford, 94 formally of Brunswick, GA passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at her home in Waynesville, GA.
Ruth was a loving mother that enjoyed her family, fishing, reading, crocheting, puzzle books and cooking.  While living in Brunswick she was a member of Sterling Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Eddie (Rhonda) Sanford,  Darlene Watkins, Kelly (Cindy) Sanford, five Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren, two Great, Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Jim Sanford, a daughter, Evon Sanford, sisters, Stella Jones, Mary McLaughlin, Jewel Crews and brothers Tom, Donald, Everett, Bunk, Ardell, and Lambert Jones.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 in the chapel at Shepard’s Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 16th at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
