Ronald Garrett Milligan, 69, of Hilliard, Florida was received in Heaven to be with Jesus, and his preceded family and friends. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 14, 1954. He was the son of Rufus Garrett Milligan and Marleen Milligan. His lifelong passion was the river. He loved water sports and was one of the best skiers on the river, trick skiing, barefoot and no hands. He loved his Mastercraft boat and you would see him cruising the Saint Mary's River with his family. He would fish often, clean them and have them for supper that night. Ron had two horses named Brandy and Buck whom he loved dearly. He rehomed both to a good friend and was able to visit them often. They never forgot him and would still come to see him at the fence when he called them up at his friend's home. Ron was in the Heating and Air trade as an AC mechanic for over forty years. Ron was well known for his mechanical skills and could repair most anything.
He is survived by his dedicated wife, Jeanne Scott-Milligan, together 37 years; siblings; Tim Milligan (Donna) and Debbie Lynn (John), children; Jodi Nuszkowski (John), Sherri Milligan (Jeffery Griffin), Lorrie Bell (Wayne), Rean Henderson, Destiny Rathore (Deepak), Mark Henderson (Enitra), Kaci Brown (Adam), April Stanford (Ron), and Paul Thornton (Shay), grandchildren; Ace Scott, Mac Nuszkowski, Kennedi Crandell, Kaleb Crandell, Laila Griffin, Hali Bell Kramer (Nathanael), Garrett Bell, Jaden Hatton, Ashton Rathore, Lilyanna Henderson, Piper Henderson, Katie Potts (Jacob), Logan Henderson, Hudson Brown, Noah Brown, Micheli Brown, Farrah Brown, Riley Stanford and Reese Stanford, and great-grandchild; Callan Wayne Kramer (due September 2023).
