Roderic Miller

Roderic Bernard Miller, 82 of Alma, Georgia passed away October 26, 2009 in Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Alma, Georgia.
He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on April 22, 1927 to Cecil Grange and Mary Beulah Vance Miller. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Folkston United Methodist Church.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil G. and Mary Miller; his wife: Alice Garey Miller; three children: Francis Miller McKim; Willard (Bill)Price; Mary Miller Phillips; four brothers: Cecil Miller, Jr., Don Miller, Richard Miller, Donice Miller; one sister: Mary Elizabeth Fahner.
He is survived by his children: one Son:Sam(Joan) Miller of Alma, Georgia; two daughters: Carol(Thomas) Joiner of Nahunta, Georgia; Anna Jean Price McKim(Randy Dennis) of Kingsland, Georgia; twenty four grandchildren; fifty seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Robert(Mary) Miller of Cambridge Ohio; One sister: Patricia Lanning of Cambridge, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 6 until 8PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:30 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Eason officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
