ROBERT ROSS

Robert R. Ross, 69, of St. George, former resident of Jacksonville, FL, passed away October 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Live Oak, Florida to the late Ira Julian Ross and Eunice Evelyn Dubberly. He attended the First Baptist Church of St. George. He retired from the City of Jacksonville Motor Pool after 20 years of service. He also was a school bus driver for the Charlton County School System. He was a member of the Riverview Masonic Lodge, North Jax Shrine Club, Putnam County Shrine Club, and the Morocco Shrine Temple. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughters: Kimberly (Frank) Bullard, Rhonda (Nelson) Mulligan; Fiancé: Jean Bodensteiner; Sisters: Irene Gordon, Willowdean Rowe; Sisters-In-Law: Beverly Ross, and Shirley Brown; Grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, Robert, Zachary, Jarrett, and Dustin Ward, Frank Bullard, Jr. and Matthew Bullard, and Tyler and Devin Mulligan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years: Mary Frances Ross.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 4 at First Baptist Church in St. George from 11-1 PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ray McKendree officiating. Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.
