Robert Lee Johns, 69 of Folkston passed away January 26, 2011. He was born June 1, 1941 in Lake County, Florida to Lawrence W. Swearingen and Julia Alline Batten. He served his country in the United States Army. He had been a resident of Charlton County for the past eight years.
He is survived by his wife: Keri Varnes Johns of Folkston; Two step-daughters: Jennifer Varnes of Folkston; Jessica Varnes of South Carolina; Step –son: John Varnes, Sr. of Folkston; Step-son-in-law: Thomas Raines of South Carolina; Granddaughter: Jaidyn Raines of South Carolina; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization will be by cremation. Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest register at www.shepardfh.com.
Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, Georgia.
