Richard Roach

Richard Leo Roach, 51, of Folkston, passed away Friday May 30 at Charlton Memorial Hospiatal and began his life in our Heavenly Father's house. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana but had lived in Folkston since 1969. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father: Paul H. Roach, Sr. You were the dove of peace in our family.

He is survived by his loving wife: Danielle Smith Roach, and an unborn child of Folkston; his mother: Barbara N. Roach, of Folkston; Brothers: Steven (Michelle) Roach of Folkston, Paul Roach, Jr., of Folkston, and Chris Roach; Sisters: Mary Batten of Tignall, GA, C.I.M. Of Folkston, and T. Francis of Folkston, Rebecca Newman of Linclolnton, GA, Eve Kirton of Fredricksburg, VA, Barbara E. Johnson, of Folkston, and Angela (Anthony) Chesser of Folkston; 25 Nieces and Nephews, 28 Great Nieces and Nephews, many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday June 2 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral serivces will be held Tuesday June 3 at 11:00 At Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gabe Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
