Renate Creel

Renate Kalbhenn Creel, 91, of Hilliard, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on December 23, 1933, to the late George and Laney Kalbhenn. Renate grew up in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, just outside of Frankfurt. She moved to the United States in 1959. She was wonderful with orchids and all other plants. For many years she was over the nursery green house and played piano at Hilliard Alliance Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband: Roy Franklin Creel, Jr.; and a sister: Ellie Hubeler.

She is survived by her son: Michael Creel (Laura); 2-grandsons: Gordon Creel and Frankie Creel; granddaughter: Michelle Creel Patterson; and 2-great-grandsons: Fred Creel and Everett Creel.

Memorialization will be by cremation. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Homeland Cemetery.
