REMA ALTMAN

Rema Conner Altman, 91 of Conner Nelson Road, Hilliard, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Community Hospice of Northeast Florida Acosta-Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in St. George, Georgia to the late Berry Vasco Conner and Ruby Kathleen Nelson Conner. She was preceded in death by her husband: Morris E. Altman and 2-Granddaughters: Keri Scott and April Altman.; Brothers: Norval E. Conner, James Dane Conner, Carlisle L. Conner, and Lagree D. Conner.
She is survived by 7-Children: R. Latrelle (Jim) Murphy, Morris R. (Susan) Altman, Belva (Walter) Lee, Myra Scott, P. Deleine (Derek) Hendrickson, Marcia (Clyde) Ellison and Tina (Cliff) Stoner; a Brother: Dewitt Conner; Sisters-In-Law: L. Mae Conner, Emily Conner, and Dorothy Conner; 17-Grandchildren, 28-Great Grandchildren and 3-Great Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Altman’s home at 27777 Conner Nelson Road, Hilliard, Fl Thursday, June 21 beginning at 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday June 22 at 2:00 PM at Nathalene Primitive Baptist Church on Conner Nelson Road. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia.
