Rebecca Jane Altman Wichmann Gamble, 60, of Folkston, passed away Tuesday October 10 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Folkston, GA to the late S.M. And Nell Brock Altman. She was a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter: Kathy (Steve) Lloyd of Folkston, GA; 2-sons: Charlie (Terri) Wichmann of Waycross, GA and Kenny (Melissa) Wichmann of MacClenney, FL; 2-sisters: Sandra (Harold) McIntosh of Callahan, FL and Judy (Norman) Chesser of Folkston, GA; 2-brothers: Ronald (Linda) Altman of Athens, GA and Hayward (Kathy) Altman of Swainsboro, GA; and 4-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday October 12 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 13 at 3:00 PM at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Hal McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3011 Hampton Avenue, Suite 361, Brunswick, GA 31520 in memory of Nell Altman. Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest book at www.shepardfh.com.
