Portia Ann Geiger O'Berry

Portia Ann Geiger O’Berry, 88, of Homerville, GA passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. She was born in Hilliard, FL on April 3, 1934 to the late Port Geiger and Dean Campbell Geiger. Portia formerly attended Homeland Pentecostal Church and attended Shiloh Church in Homerville.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter; Brenda Depew, a grandson; David Hendrix, and 8 sisters; Margaret Taylor, Dorothy Stokes, Geraldine Robinson, Rachel Sandage, Kathryn Crews, Grace Wade, Joy Fowler, and Christine Crews.

She is survived by her children; Glenda (Roy) Westberry, Sandra (Butch) Hendrix, Donald (Brenda) Smith, a sister; Faye (Billy) Spikes, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Brickyard Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
