PAUL MAY

Paul Thomas May, 81, of Folkston, GA passed away December 15, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Spring, FL.  He was born August 24, 1939 to the late Sidney Lee May and Ethel Hasey Phillips May in Hardy, KY.  He retired from Ford Motor Company and was a member of Buford Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3-brothers:  Sidney Ervin May, Jimmy Lee May and Darrel Dean May.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years:  Phyllis Jean Thacker May; children:  Tammy Lynn May Weant and her husband, Bob and Paul Byron May and his wife, Caroline; 2-brothers and sisters-in law:  Albert Ray May and his wife Judy and Johnny Glenn May and his wife, Loretta; 2-sisters-in-law:  Katherine May and Hoa May; 5-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren.

Local funeral services will be held Sunday, December 20 at 4:00 at Buford Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Harrington officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.  Funeral services in Kentucky will be held Tuesday, December 22 at 1:00 PM at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel in Belfry, KY.  The family will receive friends there an hour prior to the service also.  Burial will be in Blusprings Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 1272 Dials Branch, Ransom, KY.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
