Paul Chandler Farley, 81, of Jacksonville, FL passed away February 18, 2017. He was born October 24, 1935 to the late McKinnley and Oma Scarce Farley. He retired from Pantry Pride after a number of years in the shipping department. He was a member of Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Bertha Conner Farley; a step-daughter: JoAnne Mixon; a step-son in law: George Hamilton and 12 siblings.
He is survived by a step-daughter: Diane Johnson Hamilton of Jacksonville, FL; a step-son: Buddy (Loretta) Johnson of Nahunta, GA; 5-Grandchildren; 11-Great Grandchildren; 17-Great Great Grandchildren; a sister: Mary (Earl) Daughtry of Cleveland TN and several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 22 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23 at 11:00 AM in the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Buddy Johnson, Jr., Daniel Johnson, Jack Johnson, Chase Hancock, Michael Brown, John Hodges, and Jason Ritter.
