ORA GRIFFIS

Ora Lee Tomberlin Griffis, 82, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, May 10 at Acosta-Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida following an illness. She was born in Irvinville, Georgia to the late James Oliver Tomberlin and Effie Bell Snow Tomberlin.
She is survived by her husband: Emery L. Griffis; 4-Sons: Franklin (Connie) Hobbs, James (Debbie) Hobbs, Hank (Darlene) Hobbs and Teddy (Terri) Hobbs; 10-Grandchildren and 11-Great Grandchildren; and a Sister: Louise Selph. She was preceded in death by 4-Brothers: Julian, Joe, Peyton, and G.W. Tomberlin.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 14 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday May 15 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA with Rev. Bobby Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery in Hilliard, FL. Pallbearers will be Ben, Hank, Ross, Joe, Buddy and Cory Hobbs.
