Olivia Belle Proffit, 25 of Hilliard, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2022. Olivia, also known by many as Livi Belle, Liv, Lil O, PeeWee, Livi Snake, O.B., and Red, was a beautiful young lady so full of life. She was born to Ben and Amanda Proffit in Jacksonville, Florida on December 28, 1996. She was raised in Hilliard, Florida and loved the people and small towns around her. She was a wonderful child from day one to her young parents and was a loving sister to her brother.
Olivia was a 2015 graduate of Hilliard Middle-Senior High School and she received the Guy Mascolo Scholarship. She wanted to have a trade that she could use anywhere, so she went to school to become a cosmetologist. She graduated from Toni & Guy Cosmetology School in 2016. Olivia was employed at Great Clips in Callahan and had just celebrated her 5th year anniversary. She volunteered her services locally, but had dreamed of doing full-time volunteer work. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 12, 2015.
Olivia is survived by her loving father and mother, Ben and Amanda Proffit; brother Levi Proffit; Grandfather Bruce (Kathy) Proffit; Granny Judy Belle Boucher; Papa Rodney Moody; Grandma Mary Olivia Cumbie as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. The family will receive friends Friday, April 29th from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30th at 10:30 a.m., also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society or Wolfson's NICU.
