ODESSA HENDERSON

Odessa Henderson, 101, of Folkston, passed away Sunday October 2 at Folkston Park Care and Rehab. She was born in Valdosta, Georgia. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was on the Deaconess Board. She was also a member of the Easter Star and the Golden Circle. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Willie James Henderson, Sr. and a step-daughter: Lucille Manor.
She is survived by 3-Step-Children: Lorys Moody, Dollie Mae Wright and Willie Henderson, Jr.; 17-Grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and other relatives.
Mrs. Henderson will lie in state at the church from 9:30-11:00 AM Saturday, October 8 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
