Norman Chesser, Jr. 68 of Folkston, Georgia passed away August 2, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Chesser was born in Beaumont, Mississippi on July 27, 1944 to Norman and Ada Jane Williams Chesser. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Judy Chesser of Folkston; One daughter: Tammy Chesser Cabutto of Folkston; two sons: Samuel Norman Chesser of Miami Springs, Florida and Rocky Chesser of Folkston; three grandchildren: Staci Marie Cabutto, Tyler Cabutto and Abigail Louise Chesser ; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Parnell Aldridge and Rev. Hal McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Military Honors.
