Nina Alexander

Nina Mae Bowers Alexander, 62 of Hilliard passed away March 12, 2008 in Shands of Jacksonville.
A native of Folkston, Georgia, she was born August 9, 1945 to Earl Bowers and Veronica Reed Brooker. She worked at the Charlton County High School in the lunch room and later at Okefenokee Resturant as a waitress for over two years. She was a member of Bethany Episcopal Church of Hilliard.
Nina is survived by one daughter: Melisa Moore(Tony) of Folkston, Georgia; one son: Ricky Gaddy of Hilliard, Florida; seven sisters: Carolyn Edwards(Warren) of Waynesville, Georgia; Vivian Smith of Waynesville, Georgia; Mary Kailimai(Kimo) of Folkston, Georgia; Sylvia Frankovich(John) of Waynesville, Georgia; Rose Pritchard of Hilliard, Florida; Lynette Coffey(Ricky) of Waynesville, Georgia; Annette Todd(David) of Nahunta, Georgia; two grandchildren: Lashanna Rogers and Shane Moore; two great-grandchildren: Abigail Moore and Andrew Rogers; One aunt; Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Hodges.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2:00PM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Hilliard. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Hilliard, Florida.
