NELLIE CORNELIUS

Nellie Sharpe Cornelius, 80 of Homeland passed away December 3, 2011. She was born in Blackshear, Georgia on February 1, 1931 to W.E. and Leitha Smith Sharpe. She loved reading and caring for her flowers. Nellie was a member of North Hilliard Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years: Bennie C. Cornelius of Homeland, Georgia; five Children: Estes Eugene Manning (Liz) of Jacksonville, Florida; Jerry Manning (Laura) of Hilliard, Florida; Patricia Manning of Homeland, Georgia; Teresa Owens(Johnny) of Homeland, Georgia; Frank Cornelius (Barbara) of Homeland, Georgia; one sister: Linda Jean Flowers (Abe) of Blackshear, Georgia; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 5, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Taylor and Rev. Ricky Dyal officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery, Blackshear, Georgia.
