Nellie Anderson

Nellie Lorraine Anderson, 80, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 5 in Waycross, Georgia.  She was born November 10, 1939 in Hilliard, FL to the late John Everett Smith and Mollie Harris Smith.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Wilton Anderson; 2-children:  Mark Reed and Melissa Reed; 2-sisters:  Ginny Crews and Patricia Brandt and 4-brothers:  William Smith, Wesley Smith, Roy Smith and Gene Smith.

She is survived by her children:  Harry H. Reed, Betty Ann Gandy, Preston (Jolene) Durrance, Candace (Nicholus Gilbert) Durrance, Angelia (Randy) Wells, Lori Ellisor (Britney Wright) Anderson; a brother:  Nat Smith; 20-grandchildren”  Christina Reed, Joseph Reed, Stacey Reed, Anthony Reed, Gary Strange, Shawn Strange, Wilton Ellisor, Lori Anderson, Ashley Phillips, Matthew Crosby, CJ Crosby, Trey Durrance, Bobby Durrance, David Durrance, Angie Kennedy, Mira Kossow, Katie Durrance, Craig Durrance, Miriah Durrance, Carissa Oliver, Eric Jones and Summer Wells; 44-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 9 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Sunday, February 9 at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be in Buford Grove Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
