Milton Horne, Sr.

Milton Ernest “Buddy” Horne, Sr., 72, of Homeland, GA passed away June 11 at his residence.  He was born July 17, 1945 in Camden County, GA to the late Milton Leggett Horne and Ernestine Louise Cottle Horne.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son:  Milton Ernest “Ernie” Horne, Jr., 2-grandchildren:  Victoria Dinkins and Miles Crews and 4-brothers:  Lacey Horne, Wilbur Horne, Robert Horne and R.L. Horne.

He is survived by 3-children:  David Horne and his wife Celia, Tina Davis and her husband, Michael and Pam Dinkins; 2-sisters:  Betty Prescott and her husband, Wesley and Sue Ann McCullough and her husband, David and a brother:  Joe Horne and his wife, Susan; 18-grandchildren and 16-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 14 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 10 AM-12 Noon.  Funeral services will begin at noon in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
