Melinda Teston Dennel

Melinda Teston Dennel, 59, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. She was born on October 17, 1963 in Fernandina Beach, FL to the late Betty Jane Lloyd Teston and Chuck Cessna. Melinda was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School class of 1981. She enjoyed photography, crafting, sewing and quilting. She made quilts for several members of her family. She loved to research the genealogy of her family. Melinda was a person that was always willing to help others in any way possible.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister; Margie Lloyd.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years; Edwin Paul Dennel, her son; Gary Lee Hodgson, a sister; Lisa Anderson Patel, a nephew; Patrick Patel, and numerous cousins that loved and adored her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Pineview Cemetery in Folkston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nassau County Humane Society.
