Mary Ruth Heller Lyons, 83 of Hilliard passed away October 9, 2009 at Life Care Center of Hilliard.
She was born June 10, 1926 to Wilbur and Hazel McCoy Heller in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. She worked as an Executive Secretary for the Federal Reserve Bank of Miami for fifteen years. Mrs. Lyons was a Concert Pianist and a member of the Philadelphia Piano Orchestra. She was a member of Rima Ridge Baptist Church of Ormond Beach, Florida.
Survivors include: Two sons: William M. Lyons of Hilliard, Florida; George(Janice) Lyons of Hilliard, Florida; One granddaughter: Jeanne Ruth Lyons of Hilliard, Florida; One Brother: Robert L. Heller(Shirley) of Tucker, Georgia; One sister-in-law: Janet Heller of Enterprise, Florida; Seveal Nieces, Nephews and other relatives
The family will receive friends Monday, October 12, 2009 from 1:00 until 2:00PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steve Wolgamott officiating. Graveside Services will be Friday, October 16 at 11:00 AM at Dade Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. George Lyons officiating.
