Mary Wheeler

Mary Sue Chesser Wheeler, 82, of Folkston, GA passed away Monday, January 24 at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born November 12, 1939 in Folkston, Georgia to the late Willie Chesser and Ethel Roddenberry Chesser.  She retired as a school bus driver with the Charlton County School System after a number of years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Jarmin Leo "J.L." Wheeler and a sister:  Geraldine Faust.

She is survived by her children:  Tonya R. Wheeler and Billy Wheeler; her grandchildren:  Jeremy James, Adam James, Cole Wheeler and Amanda Wheeler; her great grandchildren:  Dallas Wheeler and Cassidy James; sisters:  Faye (Larry) McMillan and Jean Murray and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 27 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.  Burial will follow in Traders Hill Cemetery.
