Mary McLaughlin

Mary Alice Jones McLaughlin, 91 of St. Marys passed away February 2, 2011 in SGHS Senior Care Center, St. Marys, Georgia.
She was born April 5, 1919 in Newell, Georgia to Joseph Hampton and Alice Virginia Knight Jones. A native of Charlton County, she lived in Folkston until 1998, when she moved to St. Marys to live with relatives. She was a member of Folkston First Baptist Church and a member of the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class. She attended Westside Baptist in St. Marys and the Dovie Parker Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one sister: Ruth Sanford of Brunswick, Georgia; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Joseph McLaughlin; a brother Everett Jones; a sister: Stella Mae Jones.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 4, 2011 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Folkston First Baptist Church with Rev.Randy Jacoby, Rev. Gene McCullough and Rev. David Forro officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
