Mary Lloyd

Mary Frances Lloyd, 78, of Folkston, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Life Care Center of Hilliard. She was born April 27, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Rev. Emory M. and Oveda Batton, Sr. of Folkston, Georgia.
She is survived by her Husband of 62 years: Demery L. Lloyd, Sr.; her children: Demery L. Lloyd, Jr. (Lura) of Folkston; Nancy Spencer (Joe) of Longmont, CO; Jane Taylor (Howard) of Folkston and Paul Lloyd of Folkston; Grandchildren: Suzanne Stephens, Joey Spencer, Bryan and Megan Lloyd. A devoted sister: Mary Helen Davis (Will) and a sister-in-law: Pearl Batton; Many nieces, nephews and wonderful, loving and caring great-nieces and nephews: Hannah Davis, Levi Woods, Dakota Woods, Mackenzie Davis, Savannah Davis and Jonathan W. Davis, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. Emory M. and Oveda Batton, Sr.; Sister: Helen Pearson and a daughter: Jo Ann Lewis.
Pallbearers: David Lee, Joe Batton, Jonathan Davis, Donnie Lloyd, Gerald Lloyd and Russell Thompson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral Services will be Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Huling officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
