Mary Joan Champ, 82, of St. George, GA passed away January 2, 2012 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Tennessee and had been a long time resident of Charlton County, Georgia. She had been a resident of White house in Waycross, GA for the past few years.
She is survived by a sister: Carolyn Critser (Wayne) of Toronto, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a host of friends; a special friend: Pat Sessions of St. George, GA.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin 3:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray McKendree officiating. Burial will follow in Emmaus Cemetery in St. George, GA.
Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at www.shepardfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia.
