Mary Ethel Arnett

Mary Ethel Arnett, 78, of Homeland, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her residence. She was born on July 22, 1945 in Folkston, GA to the late Fred Johnson and Bertha Keene Johnson. Mary was a Registered Nurse before she retired and after retirement she stayed at home with her grandchildren and picked up the hobby of cross-stitching.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Jerry Arnett and her daughter; Melinda Johnson.

She is survived by her children; James Johnson, Laura Arnett, Herbie Johnson, Tammy Barnett, and Thomas Johnson; her siblings; Linda Arrington, Pat Gerstorff, Kathy Johnson, Carl Johnson, and Joseph Johnson and also 14 grandchildren.

A service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am with Pastor Paul Lucas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Callahan, FL.
