Marvin Mimbs

Marvin Edward Mimbs, 76, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019.  He was born July 11, 1942 in Wrightsville, GA to the late George Mimbs and Mizell Davis Mimbs.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings:  J.D. Evans, Bill Evans, Clarence Mimbs, Raymond Mimbs, Christine Smith, Monroe Mimbs, Doris Bergman and Ed Mimbs.

He is survived by 6-children:  Eugene (Wendi) Mimbs, Jerry (Toni) Mimbs, Patrick “Pat” Mimbs, Michael (Tawnya) Mimbs, Richie (Lisa) Mimbs, and Kim Mimbs; 2-sisters:  Virginia (Fred) Woolard and Alice Smith; 25-Grandchildren and 34-Great Grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 11 at 1:00 PM at Christ Community Church, 3400 Johnstonville Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029.
