Marvin Henderson

Marvin K. Henderson, of Hilliard, FL, passed away February 19, 2010 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born in Hilliard, Florida January 11, 1942 to the late Kermit Henderson and Anna Cox. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his brother: Freddie Johnson, an infant daughter: Amy Denise Henderson; and a step-son: J.L. Hartman.

He is survived by his sons: Andy Henderson, Marty Henderson and a step-son: Daryl Hartman, all of Hilliard, Fl. He has 6-Grandchildren: Andy, Amy, and Taylor Henderson, Macy, Trevor, and Mendie Henderson, 3-step-grandchildren: Tiffany and Justin Hartman and Ashley Hartman; 3-Brothers: Johnnie Johnson of Folkston, GA, Thomas Johnson, and Daryl (Pat) Henderson of Hilliard, FL and one Sister: Maybelle Johnson Davis (Richard) Schultehenrich of Wentzville, Missouri; his children's mother: Sherry Chancey and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 22 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Boulougne with Dr. Robert Tibbs officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida. Pallbearers will be Buddy Davis, Curtis Davis, Thomas Davis, Steven Davis, Teddy Johnson, Stacey Johnson and Freddie Johnson.
