Marietta Helphrey

Marietta Elizabeth lam Helphrey, 73 of Folkston, passed away October 31, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Mr. Crawford, Virginia to the late Earl Roger and Myrtle Elizabeth Sandy Lam on August 11, 1938. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Kingsland, Georgia.
She is survived by a daughter: Diane Helphrey Tickell (Lee) of St. Marys, Georgia; Three sons: Joseph Helphrey of Folkston; John Helphrey of St. Marys; and Jason Helphrey of Folkston; five grandsons: John Roger Helphrey of Greenville, NC; Corey Lee Tickell of Gainesville, Fl; Cotton Michael Tickell(Kendell )of Kingsland; Josh R. Helphrey of Kingsland; Scott A. Helphrey of Folkston; two granddaughters: Elizabeth Vanga Tickell of St. Marys; Amanda E. Helphrey of Folkston; three great-granddaughters: Emma Rae Tickell of Kingsland; Autumn Elizabeth Dawn Helphrey of Rock Hill, NC; Korah Izabelle Alexis Helphrey Gavndo of Folkston; 10 Nieces, 16 nephews and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 6PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingsland, Georgia with Pastor Hackbardt officiating and Vicar Cantwell delivering the sermon. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Jacobs Spaders Lutheran Church Cemetery near Mt. Crawford, VA.
